FEATURING ; Stephanie Ford
•Do you remember when you were a kid and the morning of The Fourth felt like Christmas in July? The golden glow peaked in through your window, the sound of a lawn mower vibrates in the distance, your inner pyromaniac anticipates the joy to come. That feeling, that excitement… I believe that’s what Jennifer Coolidge was talking about in Legally Blonde when she said “You look like the fourth of July, makes me want a hot dog real bad!”
•This Georgia grown peach answers to, Stephanie Ford. She's the brains behind TRESS jewelry. Her hand crafted jewelry has been sold via Etsy since 2013- although, her aesthetic has evolved overtime. Her skill as a designer relays clear, clean and attractive to the consumer.
•To me, Stephanie reeks of that good ol’ southern charm. She lights up a room with electric, smiling energy. Photographing her is like stepping into a nostalgic portal. She’s confident and cognizant of her unique look. It's mastered- a direct reflection of her jewelry.
•Stephanie describes some of her favorite memories from the Fourth of July. Like most people from the south, she beams about her mother’s cooking, particularly the Mac’n Cheese. Picnicking in Marietta, GA with friends and family & as a fellow child of the 90's, hearing her dad blast a little Bruce Springteen, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton.... You get the gist.
•TRESS Jewelry is sold mainly via Etsy (TRESSjewelry) but Stephanie is no stranger to starring in various pop-up shops around Denver. She'll grace us with her presence JUNE 25TH ! Come check out her summer line at Secondlove for her pop-up porch show (this is the same day as the Highlands Street Fair, please plan accordingly).
•Here's a few pieces from her summer collection featuring precious stones, unique precious novelties, hand made clay beads, & dainty golden statement pieces.
•This time of year my friends are always going to music festivals and concerts. It's always fun to play around with braids and hair accessories before they go to a show.
•The Parlour has organized a "Festival Team", The Parlour Unplugged. If your planning on attending the Highlands Street Fair this year, hopefully you'll see our pop-up tent. We'll be slingin' some braids, glitter parts, flower crowns and other fun summer hair trends at select Denver street fairs and festivals this summer.
•Our kick-off event will be at The Highlands Street Fair on JUNE 25TH- Keep an eye out for our tent- just look for the orange logo!
